SMALL FIRES.
TWO IN THE CITY. Cinders from the donkey boiler on the sugar barge Tui caused a small fire on deck. The Fire Brigade turned out at 2.50 a.m., and put out the blaze with a fi"e extinguisher. A small portion of the decks and a beam were 6lightly damaged. The fusing of an electric cable under the footpath in Grafton Road, close to a clothing factory, caused a flame at 6 a.m. to-day. The Fire Brigade were called out, but had nothing to do, as the current was switched off before their arrival.
