THE HAMILTON CLUB
HAMILTON, Thursday. At the thirty-sixth annual meeting of the Hamilton Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club last evening the president (Mr. L. W. W. Brown) presiding, a recommendation was made to secure the recognition of Hamilton in the itinerary of visiting overseas athletes who are expected during the c6ming season. Ft was decided to forward an application to the Auckland Association. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—<Fatron, Mr. C. B. B. Speight; president. Mr. L. W. W. Brown: secretary, Mr. L. G. Turner; treasurer, Mr. L. Jones; committee. Messrs. P. N. Velvin. T. Proeser. A. H. Bain, F. R. Carolan. C. Henwood, F. Tapper, and L. H. Cooke: delegates to Waikato Centre. Messrs. Carolan and Ij. G. Turner; handicapper for running, Mr. L. G. Jones.
