PARISIAN CARNIVAL.

On Saturday evening over 300 young | people were attracted to Kitchener Hall, j the scene of a spectacular gala carnival held by the Parisian DanciDg Club. Unique decorations, with the soft glow of Japanese lanterns, and the artistic stage settings gave an enchanting atmosphere for the dancers, who were presented with attractive pierrot hats. A feature of the night's entertainment was the splendid syncopated dance music of Birtley's Society Orchestra, specially conducted by Mr. Birtley. Miss Violet Brooks, who acted as hostess, wore a black georgette frock with Oriental trimmings and gold shoulder posy.
