Mr. Harry Weaver, deputy-Mayor of Xortheote. returned, from Wellington yesterdav.
Mr. Ad. Ifowiti., of inc Railways Department. Wellington, arrived in Auckland last after a <sonr>\vliat strenuous motor trip via Opunake and Okato
Mr. A. M Samuel. Mr. V. H. Potter and Mr. H. H. R. Mason, M.P.'s, arrived in Auckland by the Limited express from Wellington thi-> morning.
Sir Edwin Mitehelson and the Hon. E. W. Alisan. M.L.C.V were passengers to Auckland by thU morning's Limited e.\prc«id. Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Chittenden and Mr. and Mrs. O'Sullivan (Te Avvamutu), Mr. N. Lawn (Wellington), Mr. D. Scott (Dtinedin), Mr. C. Marshall (Rotorua)' and Mr. M. Wells (Cambridge) are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. E. T. Moir. Mr. H. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. A. Cherry and Mr. and Mr*. A. ' Lambert (Wellington), Mr. N. Rinks (Cambridge*, Mr. A. T. Wilson (Palmerston North) and Mr. A. o'l3rkn (Waiheke) are at the Star Hotel.
The Kev. H, <J. 'Sell, who has been a member of St. IVtore Cathedral stall, Hamilton, for tlie past 18 months, has aceepted the euro of Oxford, in tiie Christchurch diocCse. Mr. Sell \vaa engaged in Wannate North and in North Taranaki before he went to Hamilton.
