The decision to form a cricket club at Howick was made by a largely-attended meeting. Several offers of financial assist* ance were forthcoming, including on® ffonr the late Domain Board. Permission w*« obtained for the fencing-off of a- pitch on the Domain and the work has already been done. It is intended to arrange matches with the various ctt.v clubs.
