FLOODED IX TWO PLACES

HAMILTON, this day.
The Great South Road was nine inches deep hi water this morning in the Mangatawhiri Valley. There was a similar depth of water in the Ohinewai flat. The road was negotiable, but it was difficult for vehicles to keep the crown of the road along the stream.
