The secretary reported that the Devonport Borough Council was unable to finance the building, but that Mr. F. The meeting decided that the club courts be officially opened on October 13.

The secretary reported that the booking for the comedy, "Silken Cords." to be Staged at the Town Hall in aid of the pavilion fund, was heavy, and that £130 was already credited to this fund from the recent art union.

A silver cnp, donated to the club by A. Kohn, Limited, was received with thanks. It will be a trophy for annual handicap competition among lady members who have not hitherto won a club tro-phy.
