MATAMATA, Monday. The match for the semi-final of the Clark Cup competition, under the Waikato Kugby Union, was played between Matamata and Cambridge, and resulted in a win for the former by 13 points to C. Carroll scored two tries for the winners, one of which was converted by Fitzgerald, who also kicked a penalty goal. Cambridge got a trj and a penalty goal. The final will be played between Matamata and Waipa.
