SIR MAUI POMARE.

SUDDEN ILLNESS ON TRAIN. REMOVED TO HOSPITAL. CONDITION SERIOUS. Sir Maui Pomare (Minister of Internal Affairs) is lying seriously ill in the Waikato Hospital. Sir Maui was a passenger in the Ministerial car on the Limited Express from Wellington last night. He became ill suddenly just after the train left Taihape. A doctor who was travelling on the train was called in and he attended to Sir Maui till the express reached Frankton, where he ordered his immediate removal to hospital.
