ROWING CLUB DANCE.
The annual Iball of tlie St. George's Rawing Club proved most successful last night. It was held at Dixieland where the gay decorations made a charming setting for the pretty frocks of the dancers. Excellent music was supplied by the orchestra and things went with a swing from start to finish. Among those who were present were: Mrs. T. Stone, who woro a frock of black georgette with velvet embroidery; Mrs. L. Mulvihill, fine gold lace oyer satin; Mrs. F. Alpe, leaf green georgette and gold lace; Mrs. C. H. Dell, green taffeta with bouffant skirt; Mrs. H. White, mauve beaded georgette; Mrs. V. T. Booker, larkspur blue crepe de chine with gold embroideries; Mrs. K. Montgomerie, amber taffeta; Mrs. It. Bond, ivory satin frock; Mrs. W. J. Biggs, cream georgette and lace; Miss Gwen Court, blue georgette with pointed draperies; Miss Ailsa Hacket, orchid mauve georgette fringed frock; Miss J. Halliwell; 1 gold georgette; Miss Freda Gaudin, ivory satin with gold embroideries; Migs G. Steedman, black velvet? Mise M. Overton, ivory velvet; Miss A. Lawrence, Naples blue georgette, banded in cerise; Miss McHardy, gold beaded georgette/Miss, M. Crisp, coral pink floral taffeta;- Miss T. Ogilvie, silver lame frock; Miss G. Hayward, amethyst georgette ' and lame; Miss M. Levick, jade green taffeta; Miss Kennedy, cyclamen taffeta "'with deep hem of silver; Miss A. Kelly, rose pink taffeta; Miss P. Rose, leaf green taffeta frock; Miss A. Lewis, gold lame• and palest pink tulle; Miss Elder, black georgette frock with crystal embroideries; Miss V. Pinker, amethyst georgette; Miss E. Farrell, Valencia blue chenille frock; Miss N. Harrison, amber erepe de chine and silver lace; Miss Gribble, goblin blue taffeta; Miss L. Coakley, larkspur blue chiffon with silver embroideries; Miss G. Hanna, blue crepe de chine with sequin embroideries; Miss N. Gray, gold lace frock; Miss Mouat, mauve taffeta and tulle; Miss Esam, sage green ninon; Miss H. Jenks, japonica georgette and silver lace; Miss Wallace, orchid mauve georgette, beaded in silver; Miss E. Coldicutt, cream georgette with gold sequin embroideries; P.
