In your article under the above heading i captain formerly in the Union Companv's service says it was only by luck that a line was got ashore. Mr. Ben Kendal, who is well cnown in shipping circles to-dav, is the man pilose heroic fight against the sea was responlible for getting the line ashore. SHIPMATE WHO KNOWS.
