NEW GUINEA MISSIONS.
In your issue of March 24 just to hand under the heading of "Spreading the Gospel" appears the following: "Prior to the war New Guinea was a German possession, and to this iay most of the Roman Catholic priests and Methodist preachers are Germans." I should be grateful if you would correct this. The last German Methodist missionary left the Mandated Territory in 1921, and since then the whole of the staff hag been British. JOHN H. MARGETTS, Chairman, Methodist Mission.
