No. 1 ground, Eemuera: Auckland B v. University; referee, Mr F. H. Burbnsh. No. 2 ground, Remuera: Auckland A v. St George's; referee, Mr Madden. No. 4 ground, Remuera: Ponsoaby V. United; referee, Mr Larkin. SECOND GRADE. No. 3 gronnd, Remnera: Training Co'lege v. V.M.C.A.; referee, Mr T. H. ■ Wright. No. 5 gronnd, Remuera: Ponsonby v. United; referee, Mr Dinnlson. No. 6 ground, Remnera: St. George's v. University; referee, Sir Osborne. MANAWATU V. HAWSE'S BAT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, Wedensday. A -representative hcckey match between Macawatu and HawSe's Bay was played at Hastings this afternoon before a good attendance of spectators, and a well-cou-tested game was won by Hawke's Bay by two goals to nil.
Tie committee of the Training College Hockey Clnb have decided not to take any further advantace of the fact that the College Kifles played an unregistered man In their recent match, and therefore have notified the Association that they ■will not turn out In the replayed match, thns giving College RlSes the game by default. The College Rifles have, however, been challenged to a friendly game to settle which Is the better team, both teams hat-ing won one match circli so far.
