A SERGEANT'S SUICIDE.
"Blank" Volley from His Men. (Received 9.7 a.m.) BERLIN, November 5. A sergeant at Bremen barracks, after - being subjected to disciplinary punishment, ordered his men to load with blank j cartridge and surreptitiously substituted ball cartridge when the men were prac- . tiring. He then directed ihem to fire at bis heart as a target, and met his death.
