LORDS' RADICAL AMENDMENT. (By Cable.—Press Association.—CopyrlsntJ LONDON, November 2. In the House of Lords yesterday the Bishop of Oxford (Dr. Paget) moved an amendment in the Education Bill to allow the giving of ordinary facilities for distinctive religious instruction in the schools daily. Xnis was adopted by 141 to 49. The Lord President of the Council (Lord Crewe) intimated that this amendment entirely altered the character of the bill.
