THE BEAUTIFUL WANGANUI.
Tourists from every corner of the world have gone into raptures over the beauty of the Wanganui river, the Rhine■vland yti New Zealand. The river unquestionably affords a great deal of the grandest scenery of its sort to be found in any land. Many books have been published illustrative of the Wangamii'3 Beunic attractions, but none has so far -been placed on sale to compare with an album of 30 views, which will be published to-morrow. In the excellence of the original photographs, the judgment shown in their selection, and the perfection in reproductions, this book of views will be admitted to mark a notable advance on colonial productions. The title of this new album of Wanganui scenery is "Thirty Views of the Wanganui River," and besides a fine panorama, the book contains a quantity of interesting descriptive matter relating to the main points of interest, and the many episodes of Maori history which give an additional charm to this moat beautiful of New Zealand rivers. The cover in slate gray with embossed lettering is exceedingly artistic, and the excellence of the publication as a whole will give it a foremost place among the many books dealing with New Zealand scenery. Anyone wishing to purchase a souvenir of the colony's scenery should secure a copy at once so as to get an early impression off the plates.
