KAURI GUM MARKET. SUMMARY REPORT. "Auckland Star" Office, Wednesday, February 15. Exports of gum since last report have beeu very heavy, totalling 1180 tons, and this has practically absorbed what stocks had accumulated, as the amount of gum one tun more than for the previous three weeks. The supplies of gum tor the month or February to Uate total 4U'J tous. The exports sliu.-<.' last report are as follows •.—For Europe, Zealaudia lv ton*; Perthshire i'M tous, Alokuia 40 tun*. Victoria 27 tons, Star v£ Seotlund U0 tons, and llauyatLru 21 tons; for America, Peri t>3l tons, Perthshire ltd tons; Papauui 13 tons, star of Australia 24 tons, Star of Scotland 1W tons. Haugfltira two tons. Star of Australia one ton. Total lor Europe, 280 tons; total for America, b97 tous. Owiuf to ihe stocks havinj; been cleared, the market is more buoyant at present than it has been lor some mouths past especially as far as better grades are concerned. The demand for poor grades also shows slight improvement.
