Thornes' land sale this day there was a good attendance, the bidding was brisk, and the following properties were disposed of: Union-street, 32ft 4in by 104 ft to Sale-street, and cottage of 6 rooms, £325; Union-street, 36ft 10in by 105 ft and cottage 4 rooms. £250; Union-sflreet, 35ft 3in by 105 ft, and cottage 5 rooms, £260; Cookstreet, 34ft by 90ft and two cottages, £300; Anglesea-street, 33ft by 83ft, and house 6 rooms, £310; Angleseastreet, 33ft by 118 ft, and house .8 rooms, £295; , ; H&i-greaves-street. 39ft by 111 ft and two" , coltafes, £SOS.
A sale of property at Devonport was held at Messrs Warren Blyth and Co.'s auction rooms to-day. Thirteen sections were offered, and three sold. The prices were: An allotment 50 x 117 feet, in Burgess-road, £86; a second portion of 50 feet x 175 feet, £72 10/: while thn third allotment, which adjoined the previous one sold, realised £72. its dimensions being 50 feet x 160 feet.
