FRANCE AND RUSSIA.
Anatole France Denounces the Alliance. (Received 8.32 ajn.) PARIS, February 2. At a meeting of fifteen hundred persone in Paris the distinguished author, M. Anatole France, a member of the French Academy, strongly criticised the Franco-Russian Alliance. He declared that he did not believe in the existence of a positive treaty.
