Meeting in St. Petersburg. ST. PETERSBURG, February 2. r . ! he manufacturers of St. Petersburg have met the strikers, and discussed their grievances in a conciliatory spirit. They offered to assist the needy and not punish the leaders. They agreed to the men's demands being submitted to the Minister for Finance, with a view to legislative action, but they promised no practical concessions.
