Panmure Licensing Meeting.
The annual meeting of the Panmure Licensing Committee took place on Wednesday at the Road Board office, Panmure, all the members of the Committee being present along with their clerk, Mr Seaman, and the Inspector (Constable Walker) The Chairman, Mr Ckary, presided. A tolerably favourable report was received trom the Inspector as to the two lieonsed houses in the district, and after confirming the minutes of the previous meeting ronewals were granted to John M. Jamieson for the Panmure Hotel and to Archibald Ramsay Lake for the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, with a recommendation in tho^ first case that the house should he hotter furnished, and the latter with the caution as to Sunday and afterhour trading.
