(From our own Correspondent.) This clay. Things in General.
The Lady Bowen arrived last night with the Alarm. She has a general cargo and several passengers, and departed again this morning for Auckland and the Hot Springs with produce and the following passengers : Miss O'Dowd, Messrs. Stackpoole, Scourgie, and several bushmen.
The weather has been very fine here the past few days, but this morning we had a severe thunder storm accompanied with heavy rain.
