NAPIER.
This day. A prospectus has been issued to-day by Carlile and Co., of the Rmo&e's Say Herald, for a newspaper to be published shortly in Poverty Bay antagonistic to the Standard, to be called the Poverty Bay Herald. The object of the promoters is presumed to be on behalf of Messrs Orniond and McLean, to work up a feeling against the Auckland Provincial Government, and to obtain tho annexatiorilio' Poverty Bay to Hawke's Bay.
