Arrived—Cardigan Castle, from London, all well. She is 79 days out. The emigrants were landed on Saturday evening. The Government are prosecuting Captain Renant, of the ship Punjaub, for a breach of the Passenger Act. There are thirteen charges under clauses 24, 25, 26, 35, 36, 43. The cages are likely to occupy a week. Two convictions have alrerdy been recorded. Mr Duncan, for the Crown, is prosecuting ; and Mr Cowlishaw defending.
