FEMALE SERVANTS.
To the Editor of the Evening Stab. Sib, —Living out of town, I have not always the opportunity of seeing your really interesting paper. But having seen that a " certain class of females," have the privilege of being placed in " highly respectable families," under the patronage of a Mrs Colclough; I beg through the medium of your valuable paper, to tender ■ —not only my own, but the thanks of our district—to that kind lady for such a boon, and in fact, I suppose we must really look upon ourselves (if we are fortunate enough to procure the society of one of our " fallen sisters "), as one of the favored few, and will certainly look after her morals, to the satisfaction of that philanthropic lady.
Dear Mr Editor, Yours, with great respect, A Mothee op a Family,
