CRIMINAL SESSIONS.—FRIDAY, JANUARY sth. Continued. Before His Honor Sir Gr. A. Arney, Chief Justice.

INDKCBNT ASSAULT.

Charles Brindley, baker, aged 24, married, was arraigned upon an indictment, charging him with indecently assaulting Elisa Boyd. Mr Brookfield prosecuted for the Crown.

Mr Eees defended the prisoner. The details cf the case are unfit for publication. Councel on either side having addressed the Court, the jury retired at 7 o'clock to consider their rerdict- They returned into Court at tsn minutes past 9 with a verdict of " Not guilty." The prisoner was discharged. The Court aJjourned at a quarter past 9 o'clock unti] Monday morning at 10 o'clock.
