RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Magistrate.
The usual weekly sitting of this Court for the recovery of small debts was held this morning, and the following business disposed of— PAWNBBOKEBS* UCBNCBB. The following pawnbrokers applied for and obtained renewals of their licenses :— David Marks, Neumagen and Mo3es. UNDEFENDED CASES. Bbaithwaite v Bookee. —Claim, £16. Judgment for plaintiff. ADJOUENMENTS. Macfarlane v Reynolds, Down j^JEjeirguson, Donnelly and another v Dybrij Porter and Co v Sellars, Porter and Co r Moeller, "Williams v Nelson, Weston v Mosheim, were adjourned until next court day. DEFENDED CAUSES, Jones v Kelly ; —Claim, £14 Us. Mr Rees appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Sheehan for the defendant: Referred by consent to arbitration. Holmes Beos v Moeton. —Claim, £3 16s 6d, for goods supplied. Mr W L Rees appeared for plaintiffs, and Mr Beveridge for defendant; On the case being called on the plaintiffs agreed to accept the amount paid into Court, namely, lQs with costs, 15s 6d:
This concluded the business, and the Court rose at eleven o'clock.
