SUDDEN DEATH.
Tms morning, at about 8 o'clock, at the residence of Mrs. Bun-, Albert-street, a man of the name of Burridge was found dead in his bed. He came in la9t night complaining of being ill, went to re?t as usual, and on being called to breakfast his non-appearance caused the mistress to go up to his room, where she found him stiff and cold ; apparently life had fled during the night. He was well known for years as schoolmaster in the Waikato and Parnell. He was a man of good mental qualifications, and the cause of his death is not known. There will be a post mortem enquiry to-morrow.
