From an advertisement which appears in our columns it will be seen that irregularities have already occurred at the new rifle range, itifleaien who have hitherto be;n retarded in their efforts to achieve glory by straggling out now and then for practice at Point Chevalier have pressed matters rather too far at Mount Eden in their anxiety to achieve fame ; aud somo who actually do not know how to handle the riflo have been scattering the lead about the country. Tho district order, as printed in our advertising coin urns, ought to be read by all Volunteer*, and attended to.
