THE ITALIAN OPERA.
To say that " Faust," as performed last night at the Prince of Wales Theatre, was a great Success, .would but imperfectly: describe, the furore of delight with /vyhich this most hifectiug musical drama was receiver!. Unsurpassable itself in thrilling situations, its representation was perfect, our local amateur talent Ikivim^ no small share of the honors of I lie occasion. We trust ;t!iat this opera will soon, be repented, the reception accorded last night sufficiently showing the sympathy which it invariably evokes.—To-night," Lucrezia Borgia"-will be produced. .
