To the Editor of the EVEHING STAR. Sib -As I am feeling a little irritated at a piece of scandalous injustice perpetrated on some of the passengers of the Golden Crown, I think I will just blow off the steam, as they had to do last night when theyjiud secured us all on board for the night. X and a lew friends determined' to take a fore-cab in passage, as we preferred it to associating with the snobocracy aft, aud succeeded in getting our tickets on the downward trip, though not without a little trouble. In the evening the boorish purser demanded Is Gd whether we chose to go forward or aft, and tins in the face of their advertisement stating their fares to be 7s Gd saloon, and 4s fore cabin, surely, Mr Editor, comment, is needless on the conduct of persons who can act in such a flagrant maimer. —I am, &c, • Jas. L. Masde o.
