AMUSEMENTS.

Pbince op Wales Theathe.—Tlie performance lust evening was of a miscellaneous character. The first part was Byron's drama '■' Dearer than Life," —one which has always been deservedly a great favourite, and which was last night gone through in a manner showing the company to be thoroughly masters of tbe situations. Every part was performed with the utmost precision, and the whole was a great success. After this came a dance by Miss Allnutte, which was well executed; and then followed an entertainment by the Polygraphic Company.— This evening the performance will be for the benefit of Mr. J. P. Hydes, an old favourite, who will doubtless meet with the enthusiastic reception his great talents so well merit.

Geeit Wobld Cibctts.—The doors of this place of amusement were opened for the last time yesterday evening, when Mr. Murray was given a complimentary benefit, and had the satisfaction of finding the pavilion crowded to excess. We understand that Mr. Murray; has obtained permission to use. tho Albert Barrack Square for a few days, and intends shortly to give a series of performances on an extensive scale and. of a novel character.
