BALL AT THE CHORAL HALL.
The new Choral Hall was last night inaugurated by a ball given by many of our principal citizens in. honor of Sir George and Lady Bowen, previous to their departure for Wellington. There were between three hundred and four hundred present, and dancing was kept up till an early hour this morning. Messrs. Hale and, Grey were caterers on the occasion, and with results such as might have been expected from their joint efforts.
