There has been a good demand for leading stock, which remain firm, holders showing little disposition to sell at present rates. Caledonians, £190 to £192 10s; Thames, £37 to £37 10s; Central Italy, 40s to 42s 6il ; Otago, £3 15s to £3 17a 6d. Enquiries for Caledonians, Thames, Otago, Nonpareil, and Golden Calf.

There has been considerable activity in the share market to-day, and Caledonians have maintained the adirance noted below. My sales have been - Caledonian, £190 to £195, closing at £195; Thames, £37, asking £37 10s; Crown Prince, ss, sellers 5.5; Golden Calf, £2. ira. j. m. Lennox's bepout. Tho share market was rather active this morning, Caledonian and Thames stock sold at a slight advance upon yesterday's quotations, and closed firm. My stoles comprise : Caledonian, £192 10s to £195 ; Thames, £37, held for £38 ; Golden Calf, £2 ; Central Italy, £1 17s 6d. Closing: sellers : Caledonian, £195 j Thames, £37 5s ;. Nonpareil, £4 10s; Tookey, £38. MESSES. CLARK BROTHEES' BEPOET. There has been a great demand for Caledonians and Thames to-day.
