NONPAREIL GOLD MINING COMPANY (REGISTERED).
The annual general meeting of the shareholders of this company was held at the Governor Bowen Hotel, Grahamstown, oa'Wednesday afternoon, Mr. Warmoll in the chair. The directors' report and balance sheet were read, but as the balance sheet was not audited, it was resolved td adjourn the meeting. Mr. Wrigley moved that the adjourned meeting should be held at the Mechanics' Institute,; Auckland, on Tuesday next, at 2 o'clock, because, he said, it would be unfair to bring the Auckland shareholders to the Thames again, when they had not produced the accounts properly audited. Mr. Brodie opposed the motion strenuously,-and moved an amendment, that the adjourned meeting should be heid at Grahamstown. The amendment was lost after a long and animated discussion. Captain Skeen and Mr. Mcßoberts were appointed auditors by the meeting, to audit the accounts for the past year.
