PRINCE OF WATERS THEATRE.

This fashionable place of amusement was well, attended last evening notwithstanding the counter opposition of the Music flail, the dress circle had a fair attendance of the fair sex and a goodly attendance of he-fellows. The pieces performed were the " Busybody," arid " Cool as a Cucumber." We have had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Hoskins in a variety of characters, his Marplot last night must be pronounced one of Ms best impersonations; the unfortunate manner in which he discovered all his friends' intrigues was most ludicrous, and. kept the audience in one continued roar of laughter. Miss Colville was charming in her impersonation, givifig all vivacity necessary. Mr. B. N. Jones played as he always does—well, and looked his character. Mr. Hydes, as usual, was extremely droll. Mrs. B. N. Jones was also very good as the pert maid. Miss Anstead played her small part correctly, and Miss Raymond also deserves credit. The rest of the characters were ably sustained, especially Mr. JByan in the old man line. " Cool as a Cucumber" brought to a close a very enjoyable performance, in which Mr. Hoskins appeared as Plumper, and ably sustained this extraordinary cool gentleman. Tonight is a grand command night, when the fine comedy of " She Stoops to Conquer" will be performed, under-Jhe distinguished patronage of His Excellency, when, no doubt, a crowded and fashionable audience will be present. Youna; Marlow being one of Mr. Ho'akins' best impersonations, while Miss Colville, in the pirt of Miss Hardcastle, is irresistible. The performance will terminate with the farce of " The Handsome Husband."
