DRAPERS' ASSOCIATION.
Last evening an adjourned meeting of drapers' assistants was held at the Army and Navy Hotel, Mr. Stenwicks in the chair.—A few evenings ba'.k a number of these assistants had met and agreed to form an association, to bo called the Drapers' Association, one_ of the objects of which was the early closing of the drapers' establishments in this city. A committee was then appointed to frame a set of rules for the guidance of the Association, the objects of which were fully explained last evening. The rules were read and agreed to, and a committee of eight was appointed, five to form a quorum, to transact business in connection with the Association. —A letter was received from Mr. Dyson enclosing a donation to the funds of the Association, and wishing it every success.— About thirty persons were present, the whole of whose names were taken down as members, after which the proceedings terminated.
