THE THAMES. THIS DAT. THE NONPAREIL CRUSHING — 9G LBS. AMALGAM. IMPERIAL CROWN.—RICH SPECIMENS. Grahamstown, 2 o'clock p.m. The Nonpareil crushing of 4 cwt. is completed, the result being 96 lbs. amalgam. It is now being retorted. Point Russell. —30 tons gave 23 ozs. 10 dwts. Rich specimens have been found in the Imperial Crown this morning, cropping up on the road near Goodall'a mill. About 20 lbs. were taken out in a few minutes. City of London.—Twenty-seven tons gave 13 ounces. 2.15 p.m. The All Nations have two cakes of gold, which will give about nine hundred ounces. A further lot tomorrow. They will have about 1200 ounces to-moi'row. The Nonpareil have nearly finished retorting; about 400 ozs. will be the result, or 900 ozs. for the month. The Kuranui will have 2UO ozs. by to-morrow. A deputation waited upon the (Superintendent this morning, asking him to take off the rent on the Moanatairi tramway. His Honor promised to lay the matter before his Executive as soon as possible.
