LATEST FROM THE EAST COAST.

The schooner Tauranga arrived in harbour last night. Captain Moller informs us that a report had reached Tauranga that a large body of natives under Rewi were assembled at Taupo, and that it was their intention to cut down the telegraph posts. Mr. G. E. Broadbent died suddenly at Taurnnga on Friday last.
