KEROSINE STORAGE.
We are glad to see the promptitude with which Messrs. Archard and Brown have met the necessities of the occasion, in the erection of the new kerosene store in Mechanics' Bay. The building, which is of concrete, will serve a secondary, but by no means unimportant purpose, in bringing before the public mind this i,ui «tj l. 'v* _^ j ~:. i and the rapidity with which the work lies been completed will present not the least important element among the advantages of concrete. The store, which is expected to be finished this week, will be capable of containing seven thousand cases of kerosinc; and will place at absolute defiance all the efforts of incendiaries, burglars, and all similar irregular members of society. One portion of the building will be allocated as a bonded store, so that the convenience afforded to the public will be very great. The public spirit of Messrs. Archard and Brown-deserves success.
