POLICE COURT.—MONDAY.
[Before J. 11. Home and T. Henderson, Esqs., Justices.] Drunkenness.—J. Fisher, T. Falkner, J. Malone, and H. Hopkinson, were each fined ss. and costs, or in default the usual alternative. Mary, an aboriginal, was imprisoned for seveu days for a third offence; and John Woods, for a fourth offence, and for habitual drunkenness, was sent to gaol for three months as a vagrant. Larceny. — John Clarkson, charged by Daniel Spenee with having stolen a watch, was remanded to the Thames, to appear there on Friday. Faxse Pretences. — W. H. Percival, charged by Edward Shepherd with obtaining money by false pretences, was remanded till | Wednesday.
