PERAMBULATORS.

It should be generally known and we think it ia not, that nurse girls running perambulators on the foolpaths are liable to a very heavy fine or imprisonment. Since the hot weather set in the number on the side walks of our main streets is something excessive, and a great number of complaints have been forwarded to the police, who, however, reluctantly will be compelled to interfere. As this will necessitate a raid on the babies, we pray that our feelings may not be harrowed by the sight of some twenty or thirty little innocents impounded in the Police Court, and the consequent fearful laceration of maternal feelings. Let a word be enough.
