MOONLIGHT CONCERT.

The moonlight concert given on Saturday night in tho Albert Barracks Reserve, for the purpose of benefitting the Home for Destitute Children at Eort Britomart, and the Orphan Home at Parnell was attended by over 2000 persons. On the large platform in the centre of the reserve and with the large brass stand used on the Galatea erected on it, the Band of that vessel discoursed sweet mnsic to the delight of the visitors. The night was favourable and the concert passed off with great success. We understand as a result about £80 will be handed over as net proceeds to the two institutions.
