SUDDEN DEATH.
A very melancholy circumstance occurred last night at the corner of Princes and Shortland-streets. Mrs. Morley, reluming with some friends from divine service conducted in the Music Hall, was in the act of saying " goodnight" to them, when she fell back and instantly expired. Dr. Nicholson was immediately in attendance, but found that death had occurred. The body was borne home on a stretcher. The deceased, besides her husband, leaves three little children, and it is supposed ttat a fright occasioned by one of these having fallen into the sea off Wynyard Pier on Thursdcy, but from which he was rescued, had so affected tho lacty as to accelerate her death. She had complained of an oppressive closeness in the Hall during service, and it is supposed that death resulted from disease of the heart.
