ORDINATION AT ST. PAUL'S.

Yesterday, Mr. W. Taylor, until recently the head teacher of St. Matthew's School, was ordained a deacon of the Church of England. The service was held in St. Paul's Church, in which was assembled a fairly-large congregation. In addition to the Bishop there were present of the clergy, Yen. Archdeacon Maunsell, Revs. Brady." Bree, Dudley, Heywood, Kinder, and Nelson. The sermon-was preached by Dr. Maunsell, from the text 1 Tim., iii. 10. The Litany was sung by Rev. C. M. Nelson. Rev. E. N. Bree read "the Epistle, and the newly-ordained deacon read the Gospel. The Bishop was assisted at the service of the Holy Communion by Revs J. Kinder and E. 11. Heywood. The musical part of the service, which was choral throughout, was under the able management of R. C. xUainwaring, Esq.
