FATAL ACCIDENT AT MERCER.
A FATAL accident occurred yesterday at Mercer, by \yhich a man named Nesbit lost his life. From what we can learn, the unfortunate deceased was cook at the hotel at Mercer, and was crossing the Wsiikato in a boat with Mr. Cardus, of Auckland, and another person, when, by some means, he fell out of the boat and was drowned.
