POLICE COURT.—SATURDAY.
(Before H. H. Turtcn, H. M. Jervis, and J * O'Neill, Esqs. Justices.). Drunkenness. —John Ward was fined 10s and costs, or to be imprisoned 48 hours with hard labor. John Mithis forfeited bail. Labcent, 40s.—Mary Ann Curtis, a young girl of about 13 years, was charged with having stolen two one-pound notes, the property of Mrs. Anne Foster, residing in Chancery-street.—Mr. McGregor for the prosecution, Mr. Joy for the defence.—The prosecutrix did not desire to press the charge, and after a warning from the Bench the prisoner was discharged.
