We had thought that negrophobia was at end, but we found that we were mistaken, a., notwithstanding the failure of more than one company of Blackfaces, another troupe, called the Orpheus Minstrels, is about to make its first appearance before the public on Wednesday next. The object is a good one, however, and if the Orpheus succeed in pLeing a sum to the credit of the Hospital, their labors will not have been in vain. The patronage of His Excellency the Governor, Lady Bowen, and his Honor the Superintendent have been secured for this occasion ; so that we trust the aspirants for favour will succeed in making a good impression.
