ARRIVAL OF THE LORD ASHLEY.
The Circular Saw Company's fine 8. s. Lord Ashley, Captain Andrew, arrived in harbor this morning at five o'clock, from Southern ports. She left Port, Chalmers on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m.; cleared the Heads 5.40 p.m., fine weather. Arrived at Timaru on Friday, 20th, at 5 a, m.; took in 700 bags grain and left again same evening, at 8.30. Arrived at Lyttelton wharf on Saturday, 29th, at 9.30 a.m.; filled up with grain and left same evening at 8.39. Passed Cape Campbell on Sunday, 30th, at noon ; strong gale from S. W. Arrived at Wellington wharf on Sunday, 30th, at 7 p.m; left Wellington for Napier on Monday, 31st, at 3.10 p.m., fine weather. Arrived at Napier on Tuesday, Nov. Ist, at 1.10 p.m.; discharged 20 tons cargo and left again game evening, at 5.30 p.m. Bounded East Cape on Wednesday, 2nd, at noon. Passed p.a. Luna at anchor in Uicks' Bay; strong gale from S. W. Passed Cape Eunaway at 6.30 p.m.; strong breeze from S.W. Passed White Island at midnight. Arrived at Tauranga on .Friday, Nov. 3, at 8.20 a.m. Left again at 12.15 for Auckland; fine weather, light airs from N. W. Passed Cape Colville at midnight, TiriTiriat 3 a.m., and arrived off the Wharf at 5 a.m. on Friday 4th.
