THE CARANDINI CONGESTS.
Notwi HSTANBiifG- the many counter attractions last evening, the City Ilall was again filled, when the Carandini family gave their fifth concert. The programme, last night, included many gems, which were rapturously received by the audience. Miss Rosina and Fannie sang many song.s, but we were sorry to see that the greater part of the audience will still persist in demanding encores. It must be very trying for these ladies to submit so often to this, but still they do so with good grace, and always come bofore then* audience smiling. The encores now are becoming such a nuisance that really they are not appreciated as they deserve, or ought to be, so we hope the audiences in future will be a little more lenient, at least. to the fair songstresses. Mrr Joe Small, of course, sang many of his comic songs; his " Unfortunate Man being as well received as ever. To-night an excellent programme is announced, and we are jure there will be a crowded house.
